Hotel Las Cataratas (28 km from the city) is a good choice if you want to see the falls as well. The hotel building is designed in a colonial style and is surrounded by nice gardens where you can actually see the wildlife (but only during the night or early morning). It's pretty expensive (up to 150$) but if you have a Brazil Air Pass it's 20% off.
