Foz do Iguacu

You can see the Itaipu dam, the biggest powerstation in the world built jointly by Brazil and Paraguay. The main dam has 8 km in lenght and the lake covers an area of 1400 sq km. You can visit it for free, but only as part of a group. Take bus 110 or 120 from Terminal Urbana (they run every 13 minutes). It leaves you at the entrance, at the Public Relations Office. They have a small video presentation before the actual visit.
