If you want to treat that somebody like royalty take her (him) to Copacabana Palace on Av Atlantica 1702, Copacabana. It is the most famous hotel of Rio, where heads of state rock stars and other VIP have stayed. Even Princess Di and Queen Elizabeth once stayed there. Its beautiful 1920s white facade has been renovated and now it really shines. Rooms are, as you've expected, high class, with balconies and parquet floors. There is a beautiful pool, stylish restaurants and excellent service. Prices raise from 371 US dollars for a double room.
