The Centro Cultural Banco Do Brasil, a beautiful building dating from 1906, is located on Rua Primeiro de Marco 66. It is a popular cultural venue with its more than 120.000 visitors per month. It has a cinema , two theaters and a permanent exhibition displaying the evolution of Brazil's currency. There are cultural events happening all the time: temporary exhibitions, evening concerts, film screenings- the O Globo's entertainment listings posts these events. You can visit Centro Cultural Banco Do Brasil for free and the gallery for 2 to 4 american dollars.
