My favorite and I think the best spot for caipirinhas is Academia da Cachaca, a bar-bistro with a terrace on Rua Conde de Bernadotte 26G, Leblon. They serve tasty, cheap meals along with dozens of cachaca (cane liquor) sorts. You can order a straight cachaca, with honey and lime or mixed as a cocktail in a fruity caipirinha. As a cure for a bad hangover try the passion-fruit batida cocktail- it's a mix of cachaca and passion-fruit juice.
