I'm a chocolate addict myself and I remember that while I was in Rio I frequented Chocolatras, a small sweet cafe on Av Ataulfo de Paiva 1321, Leblon. Its menu contains over a dozen incredibly delicious and cheap chocolate desserts: cakes, tarts, pies and brownies. It also offers salgados- bar snacks. This cafe keeps open from noon till 11.30 pm.
