What about an award winning restaurant? You should go to Carlota located on Rua Diais Ferreira 64, Leblon. It is not as expensive as you had expected: 18 to 25 US dollars for mains and the menu features delicious dishes with both Portuguese and Eastern influences: everything from the cod recipes to salmon sashimi or shiitake dishes. Opening hours: 7 pm till midnight on weekdays and 1 pm till midnight on weekends.
