anne's question:
A beautiful park I can stroll along with my family?(give a different answer) .
Head for the oldest park in Rio: Passeio Publico, located on Rua do Passeio. It was built in the 18th century by a famous Brazilian sculptor who was inspired by the Lisbon's botanical gardens. The park has large trees, a pond with islands and a crocodile-shaped fountain. Before the Parque do Flamengo was built, the sea came right up to the edge of the park. The admission is free so take your whole family there.
