Head for the Earth Science Museum ( Museu De Ciencia Da Terra). It is housed in a large, majestic building (with statues and curved staircases) on Av Pasteur 404. The museum has four room exhibit that gives a short introduction on the natural history of Brazil. There are also life-sized dinosaurs on display, an extensive collection of minerals, rocks and meteorites. There is free entry.
