Last year I went with some friends in a trip to Rio de Janeiro. And because we all love climbing we contacted Rio Adventures agency for a guided hike around Rio. These people offer a range of outdoor activities such as hiking through Tijuca National Park, sightseeing tours, rock climbing on Pao de Acucar and Pico da Tijuca, rafting trips to Paraibuna River and even parachuting and paragliding adventures. Their guides are experienced and speak good English and other languages. Prices for a guided trip vary from 25 US dollars for hiking to 80 dollars for rafting tours.
