krystyna's question:
Can you tell me anything about the Historical Centre of Salvador, Brazil?(give a different answer) .
First of all, I found more interesting the Upper than the Lower City and from Praca Municipal to the Carmo area 2 km north along the cliff is the Centro Historico, or what we call the Historical Centre, a national monument protected by UNESCO. Here I could see the old Casa de Camara e Cadeia, the Palacio Rio Branco, once the Governor's Palace, or Santa Casa Misericordia. There is more to see, just pay a visit sometime.
