You can take a short trip to Horto Florestal (in Tremembe, 30 minutes from downtown), where you can see almost
all species of woodland flora in Brazil. There are natural trails, a museum with samples of local flora and fauna. There is a nice view of
the city from Pedra Grande, which is just before the entrance, to the right. You can visit it daily, between 6 and 18. I don't know the price though.
