I really need your help to find a market here in Sao Paulo.(give a different answer) .
In Praca de Liberdade there is "Oriental" fair market, open every Sunday between 10 am and 7 pm. You can buy here Japanese snacks, plants or handicrafts, I found it very picturesque, there are gypsy fortune tellers, tightrope walks etc. Below the Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo, another market takes place every Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
