I want to find a safe exchange house in Sao Paulo.(give a different answer) .
If you go at Praca da Republica 177, loja 13, you will reach the Interpax exchange house, it changes cash in many currencies as well as cheques, be there between 09:30 and 18:00 during weekdays or until 13:00 Saturday. A bit further, on Praca da Republica 203 there is Amoretur, which also changes cheques.
