The international Airport at Guarulhos is about 30 km out of town. If you have a lot of luggage I suggest you take a taxi, because the buses can be crowded. Taxis to the airport usually cost 35-40$ (with a 3$ starting price). You can get an ordinary taxi from the street or go to a taxi station like Praca da Republica.There are also radio taxis which are more expensive.
